Debra’s Background
Debra is a native of Manchester NH. After graduating from Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Business, Debra was employed as a Corporate Controller of a car rental agency for 15 years.  Debra’s first priority has always been customer service and treating people with dignity and respect. Debra had a vision of how she would provide customer service to clients as well as treat employees with respect and compassion if she owned her own company. After some serious thought, she went on a mission searching for her own opportunity that would be personally satisfying and would give back to her community. Debra came across Visiting Angels and researched the franchise extensively before purchasing in 2004. Debra has strong family connections with Down syndrome and dementia that led her on the path of servicing families and providing them with the top notch care they deserve. Debra has walked down the path so many of our clients are experiencing themselves. Debra listened to families, often expressing frustration that they had few alternatives other than to place their loved ones in a nursing facility. Before long, Debra’s dream was realized with the families her agency began to care for and had established some great relationships.

In the spring of 2004, Debra resigned from her position with the car rental agency and started the very first Visiting Angels non-medical home care agency in New Hampshire. Debra’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to her clients have earned her an excellent reputation in the community. Her agency has served several thousands of families in the southern and central New Hampshire area and her clientele continues to expand. In 2015, Visiting Angels of Auburn NH received the Provider in Excellence award, making her agency one out of two home care agencies nationwide to receive the award four years in a row. For more information on Debra's agency, go towww.homecareofnh.com.

In 2014, Debra completed her training through Remembering 4 You and became a certified Alzheimer's/Dementia Coach and Consultant. At that time, she opened up her second company, Caregiver Keys LLC, so she could further be of service to families and professionals who care for those with dementia.

Debra continues to grow and develop her services continuously. In 2015, she completed her training with Teepa Snow's Positive Approach to Care (PAC) and became a PAC Approved Trainer.
